The villages of Japan and Mojan are located near Andrijevica, hidden among mountain slopes where nature and tradition exist in perfect harmony. These villages are accessible via local roads that pass through breathtaking landscapes, offering travelers the chance to experience the pristine beauty of northern Montenegro. Hostel Mojan is located within the stunning Komovi Nature Park, at the foot of the majestic Komovi mountain in eastern Montenegro. This area is known for its exceptional natural beauty, rich biodiversity, and peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by pristine forests, alpine meadows, and crystal-clear springs, it's ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and all who seek a genuine connection with the wild. Nearby, you’ll find scenic trails, traditional mountain villages, and historic sites that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region.
How to reach us?
➡ By Car – From the center of Andrijevica, follow the local road leading to these villages. Most of the road is paved, but the last section may be a gravel road, so a vehicle with higher clearance is recommended, especially during winter months.
➡ On Foot or by Bicycle – Adventurers can enjoy hiking or cycling to Japan and Mojan, passing through scenic mountain paths and meadows, accompanied by the sounds of rivers and birdsong.
